Helping Corona-affected businesses - setting a sign for a new start

Being generous on a small scale. Growing together on a big scale.

Helping each other. Being there for others. Your advantage will not be my disadvantage. Let's create a new sense of unity.

That's the message of #add4aid - we're in!

All of us are witnesses of an epochal development. Changes with unprecedented consequences take place. New standards are set – in dealing with each other - in every area of society. The virus has already spread to more than 180 countries – companies all over the world are facing economic disaster.

Small fashion retailers have to sell their summer collections - they had to make advance payments, and many are not prepared for online sales. Particularly hard hit are the companies associated with tourism, catering and the hotel industry. One third of their total annual turnover is usually generated during the Easter holidays. Many workshops, small and micro businesses such as bakeries, event organizers or artists are similarly affected. They all struggle with cancellations and the resulting financial problems. More and more companies have to announce short-time work or even lay off their employees - small businesses, which make our cities and communities more dynamic and liveable, are suffering.

In many regions, small shops are now allowed to open again - and we can all help set the sails of economic reconstruction.

The international non-profit organization ng.team is launching the initiative

#add4aid - we're in!

to help small businesses affected by Corona to start up again. The idea is simple: when shopping in a small shop you want to support, round up the amount you are buying for. For example, for a bread roll that costs 25 cents, make it 30 cents. Or even 50 cents or one euro - depending on your wallet.

Help and support small businesses, the self-employed and many others by simply rounding up your bill. Every cent counts! Many cents turn into many euros or dollars, helping small businesses to survive the crisis, so they can continue to be there for us in the future - in all their diversity.

Alleviating human suffering and helping people to help themselves - this is the guiding principle of ng.team. For almost 30 years the organization has developed its expertise in a total of 14 countries all around the world: from emergency aid to education up to university degree. Today, help is needed in every country, including yours.
